Coffee shops are aplenty here in Seoul and because we are so spoil for choices, taste alone wouldn't do when you feel like chilling in longer- instagramable interior and branding are playing a huge part here (as anywhere else) to drive in the customers.
We visited Fritz on a late Sunday afternoon and it was hustling and bustling with the weekend crowds but we managed to find a seat at the balcony upstairs. They transformed an entire building into a cafe with their baking kitchen in the basement.
I've had better pain au chocolat but the charming thing about this place (besides their award winning baristas) is the branding that's spot on with merchandise from iphone cases to badge pins that screams kah-ching!
Forget Coffeesmith and all the other coffee chains along Garosugil like most tourist do when they come to Seoul- you should try out spots like this instead.
