Sago Gula Melaka, Reprise.

We woke up to a rainy Saturday morning, I mashed some over ripped bananas and made a banana cake. After that, we sat down for breakfast of cereal and milk.
It started pouring heavily when John decided that we should take the car out for a shower.
...and so we did.

With a freshly brew coffee in hand, we took the escalator down and into the car and out to the streets.
I came home to my sago pudding, a jar of nata de coco (in lychee syrup) and finally remembered that I didn't strain the gula melaka before storing it (hence the impurities pictured).

That retro ping pong rice bowl was gifted to me by my aunt, she had 10 now 8 and I sure hope I was clear about my intention to inherit it all in the near future.

4:27pm - The rain has stopped and we have pork ribs soaked ready for a bakuteh dinner. Such a lazy day, I hope the night picks up!
