Mr. Holmes Bakehouse, Korea.

The first time we went to Mr. Holmes- everything I wanted to try were sold out! I walked out almost depressed as I was very excited during my HOUR long ride to get some sugar fix. The next time we went- we arrived an hour earlier before the new batch of donuts and cruffins are scheduled to be out- we finally made it! They finally went into our tummies, more like mine because John wasn't a wee bit impressed- don't mind that he is no sugar fan...but the very fact he agreed to take the hour long subway ride is good enough by me.

That was also the day I caught the flu bug and even though I went home with a box full of sweets, the flu won my throat over and the few cruffins were almost wasted like my dizzy days that followed.

I haven't gotten so sick for a long time and I'm glad to be feeling much better today and hopefully next week, i'll be able to make my way back for their croissant that is only baked once in the morning at 10am.

The selling times have been altered and I hope it stays this way:
Donut: 10:00, 13:30, 15:00, 18:00
Cruffin: 12:30, 18:30
Flavor updates on their official instagram @mrholmesbakehouse_kr every Sunday! So that you can plan your cheat day accordingly.

If you want cruffin, best be there by 13:15 and start queuing up. Other customers there might be a little hangry and catty, so stay in line and claim your spot!
*Buy any 6 items and you'll get all your carbs packed in a pretty box to go! (Although you can take it up and have it in store too).

I can see why people go crazy for em', I had the milk tea donuts (MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmm) and it was more enjoyable than the pina colada cruffin that day (that's why the flavor update is important!)- they are quite pricey to be eaten daily but it's well worth it when you gotta fix that crave! (...and maybe not have all 6 by yourself) !

Address: 34, Apgujeong-ro 10-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Opens everyday, 10am-10pm.

Next on my list, MAGNOLIA cupcakes!!
