K-beauty: make prem

I've been testing out different skincare brands once they are emptied out and the latest in my current Korean beauty lineup are by make p:rem which I'll be introducing in this post.

It is still Winter here in Korea and part of my routine has been applying on mask of every sort- sheets, sleeping pack and this Wonderful me. In-shower face pack. In shower mask is a trending thing in Korea and I can see why it's so popular because it's quite an effortless feat.
So how does this work? You get into the shower and firstly cleanse your face thoroughly before lathering the gel (face pack) onto your entire face (and neck). The gel like texture is easy to apply and you'll only need a pump to cover your entire face before you move on with your hair and body.
Once you are done with the whole shebang from head to toe, you'll just need to wash it off and you'll notice how supple your skin got by adding this little step! I usually do this twice a week.
If you are wondering, sure you can use it when you are not in the shower as well! The face pack isn't the watery/drippy sort and you can definitely put it on for 10-15 minutes even if you don't intend to have a full body shower and take that few minutes to visit the sea netflix.

The other cult item from make p:rem that I'm currently using is Safe me. Relief moisture cream 12 which is currently a sold out item on their site, when I checked today. The best part about this moisturizer is that it only contains 12 ingredients and it's EWG green safe, meaning that it is suitable even for sensitive skin and the ingredients aren't harmful.
I have dry skin and I'm always looking out for products that are hydrating and moisturizing and I'm delighted that this brand is working for me as I do rotate my main moisturizers every 3 months.
This cream is made from 93% botanical ingredients, so it has a distinctive (lack of a better word, forest-ish) scent which is quite a new thing for me as most of my moisturizers have that fresh/floral scent to it.
It comes with a spatula (love it when products includes it!) and remember to always use a spatula when you are trying to scoop any kind of skincare out from its' tub because it helps to keep the product in its' optimum state!

Next blog will be on their oil masks and some other ones that I'm trying out!
Stay tuned! Update: I've blogged about the oil mask here.
