Glad Hotel, Seoul.

For our 1st Anniversary (Korean edition), John decided since I've been supposedly dropping big hints that a staycation would be a fantastic idea!

So after much research and budget configuration... we settled on Glad Hotel in Yeouido that was near from our office (so that we could check in after half day's of work) which meant less travelling time through and fro.

GLAD is a minimalist modern hotel, less than a year old and it's a good stay if you still like a little hustle and bustle of the city.
We later learnt about NEST hotel in Incheon (which is also affiliated and part of the international design hotels) from the bartender- a better pick if we would like total relaxation, as NEST is situated deeeeep inside of Incheon and rumour as it that the buffet breakfast is one of the best!

Oh wells, we shall nest that thought for another day.

For our room package, we received a complimentary welcome fruit plate, 2 drinks at the Mark. T whiskey bar down at the lobby, 2 VIP tickets to an art exhibition and buffet breakfast.

It seems that this hotel is pretty popular with tour groups as well! As you see bus load of people getting on and off.

We were upgraded upon check-in and it is apparently the biggest room in our price category. There are suites above us and I wonder how much more awesome those might be?! We already fully equipped kitchen with pots and plates! Atas laundry nuggets and a spanking new washing machine, dryer and the bathroom bigger than my bedroom!! I was a little sad that we had to check out at noon and that we didn't get to play cooking or bring our laundry to wash! HAHA!!! i'm kidding...

So yea, we walked to IFC Mall because it was nearby, had dinner and visited LUSH.

Some of you may or may not know how awesome LUSH bath bombs are- it foams up quickly and stays foamy for a loooong time! Would work better if we had a pile to really tarik the water.
The bombs are pretty pricey, very darn pricey here in Korea but it sure is a fairly great bargain vs a random 60mins spa session.

It smells divine and the color!! OCEAN bliss! Worth every won of it!
They sure recommended well and I would indeed recommend to you reading this too! *waves*
